Many things to,see around the lake but the colored,stones,were awesome. Pictures do not do them justice. Nice hiking trails for various levels. Easy to spend the day there.

Visited here during sever wildfires recently. The lake and area would be stunning but completely shrouded in smoke the whole time we were there. Would advise going earlier in the season if possible when there is a lower fire risk (we went in September)

It is cooler during the day, cold to freezing at night usually. If its clear and cool the fall colors in the foliage are wonderful. There is a chance of snow in the park at higher elevations. We love October up here. You... More
