We had a short window of opportunity to make the Arctic flight. The folks at Stampede were great to work with and quickly got us on an afternoon flight. Unfortunately, the flight didn't gain the minimum number of passengers, and the flight was canceled. Though...More
Wow, what an adventure! Our entire flight from Healy to Bettles and then back again was amazing. Brad, our pilot and guide was fantastic. He is a great pilot! He was extremely knowledgable, kept us entertained, and told lots of stories. When we got to...More
Wonderful aerial views of scenery that was completely different from the other flights we took around Denali and Girdwood. The meal provided at Bettles Lodge looked and smelled great but my stomach doesn't really like small planes that much so I declined, just to be...More
What an adventure! Brad is an excellent pilot and wonderful guide. The flight was incredibly smooth (including take off and landing) resulting in minimal queasiness from the world’s biggest vertigo girl (me). I would 100% recommend this tour. We, like many others, struggled with the...More

Flight over Artic Circle and landing at Beetles was a great experience. Commentary was informative and scenery was so different to what we have in Australia. Delicious meal at Beetles Lodge and given a guided tour of town was topped with a view of a...More
We booked this the day before while waiting for our hotel shuttle. This was the best part of our 10 day trip in Alaska. The flight was beautiful, blue skies with total sunshine and ultimately breathtaking. The pilot took us on a very descriptive 360...More

It is possible to see wildlife, but due to the altitude and speed in which aircraft must operate it can be difficult. Guests have recently spotted moose, caribou, and Dall sheep from above. The Dall sheep are able to be spotted more often because of their location high up on hill/mountain sides. Moose are spotted usually in lakes.
