Only the truly adventurous ( and fit ) should consider this four-hour guided tour of one of Carlsbad Caverns' most captivating caves. Involves crawling through tight spaces, walking on slippery surfaces and getting dirty.

This is part of the self guided tour thru the Caverns. Not sure why they would separate this attraction you can’t get to it without going thru the whole cavern unless u take the elevator I guess.

First of all, do this tour, you will be glad you did. The Hall of the White Giant tour was challenging but not impossible; it felt a bit dicey at times, but just enough to make you feel like you accomplished something when you made...More

Not for the feint of heart this tour was awesome! We crawled through tight holes and climbed up using rope! It was a strenuous tour, I was tired after it.

These are amazing formations that have taken many years to form....if you use your flashlight on your phone you can see what the formation looks like in the light....

Everything in the cave is pretty neat, but this was my wife's favorite part of the Big Room. Great formations, and to know how long it took to form it is impressive.

This is a tough and intense tour. It really does live up to it's "very strenuous" rating. I consider myself pretty claustrophobic, and I almost chickened out in the first 60 seconds, but I am glad I stuck to it. What an amazing experience. I...More

3/4 of a mile in and back out the same route. Much of that (maybe 200 yards) is on your belly -- not on your hands and knees. Be in shape and don't be claustrophobic. Only 8 people per week are "privileged" to go on...More
