We had to do this super scenic hike - but we are not big hikers. So we took it really slow, expecially the return climb. Thankfully there were some benches to use on the way up. Exhausting but well worth it.

We incorporated The Queens Garden Trail with the Navajo and Peek a Boo trails. This is called "The figure 8 Trail" All these together took us about 3 hours, we set out just after sunrise and we're done easily by noon when the masses are...More

We enjoyed visiting this park. The one mile hike in to see the Queen's Garden was a nice stroll down to the garden, however the walk up was more difficult. However I am thrilled to say it was well worth the walk. If you enjoy...More

The day we hiked this trail down into the canyon it was packed with people of all ages and varying degrees of health. It is long and steep, and at an altitude many visitors were unaccustomed to. Many people coming back up were struggling to...More

I have a significant fear of heights especially with steep trails or trails with sharp drop-offs so I self-limit to paths which won't provoke a panic attack, typically. Well, the night before hiking Queen's Garden I googled too much and made myself a nervous wreck...More

Our two days in Bryce unfortunately fell on 3 days of road repair in the park, and about 2/3 of it was closed off. Fortunately this trail was available, and was breathtakingly beautiful, removing all of our feelings of having "missed" the best. As everyone...More

Pretty steep going in and getting out, but rather short relative to other hikes. Go early as the sunrise accentuates the natural beauty.

A quick hike to get a good taste of the canyon, but while the park guide marks it as an easy hike, the uphill climb was strenuous in the heat. We saw a few older folks struggling and being attended by search & rescue. Be...More

Hi, This trail was easy but with some steep parts that we managed. We are in our 50's. I have experience with hiking with kids and yes, I would say these are definitely good for a 7 and 11 year old. Just keep an eye on where... More
