Tomichi Point is easily accessible on a round trip, relatively short hike from the Visitor Centre. While many of the more famous view points are further along the canyon, this is still a very scenic area and worth a visit.

This is a great overlook that can be accessed from the visitor center's parking lot. It offers a great view of the Gunnison river and is a great place to start along the South Rim road.

This is the first stop along the park road. It is an incredible view but do not make this your last stop in the park. This is just a wonderful taste of what's to come. Plenty of parking. Interesting information boards. Toilets available.

Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP is amazing no matter what view you take in. Don't miss the history in her creation and take the time to feel the magnitude of her beauty.

This point is the 1st Peak as you enter the park into what you're about to see! You can stop here or head to the visitors center & hike to this area, quick, easy hike.

Special views of the Gunnison River and the truly amazing things created by nature over millions of years. One of my favorite overlooks in the park.
