There are 3 relatively short trails that find their trailhead within a quarter of a mile from each other. The scenery for each is surprisingly diverse! This is a relatively easy trail with amazing views and stunning strata variations! Beautiful! A must see when visiting...More

Our favorite stop at Badlands allowed us to venture out onto the "moonscape" of the park. Step off the boardwalk and hike as far out as you can into another world. Very unique.

We went as our first trail. Great place to stretch your legs after a long drive. Although the views were unbeatable, a highlight was seeing a big horn sheep ram!

Felt like a prairie at one point, only with deep drop offs with peaks all around the outside. Easy walking. Not great for wheelchairs. Pretty short, flat hike.

This hike was easy to moderate and yielded some great views at the end of it. It was 106 degrees F the day we were there so take some water with you.

This is a well marked trail. We saw all age groups but does require one to have good mobility. You should bring water although some folks had none. Beautiful formations.

Anyone can do this hike. It's short, on a boardwalk and plenty of places to rest if you need to. Highly recommended if you are not up for a strenuous hike but want to see the landscape up close and personal
