Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you don’t have the time to hike up to Delicate arch this is a good alternative. The views are across a small canyon and you cannot get up to the arch from this vantage point. The hike to the lower viewpoint is very easy and wheelchair accessible. If you don’t mind a moderate hike go up to the upper viewpoint for a better view of delicate arch.

We stopped by here on our last day at arches to see the delicate arch once more. It is very quick to get to the view point from the parking lot. But of course the arch appears very small. Having done the longer hike to see it up close, this was a nice way to bidding adieu.

This is a good way to see the arch if you have limited mobility or you just don’t want to make the hike. However, the view is very far and you will not get a good view or good pictures from a cell phone. Yet, Delicate Arch should be seen so if this your best option then take it.

We went to both the Upper and Lower Viewpoints as we didn't have the time or strength to do the strenuous 3 mile hike. Settled for using the binoculars and the zoom lens, although that is no replacement for up close in person. Not much difference in the two viewpoints and the Lower doesn't have the steep hike.

We were with a tour so we viewed the arch from the lower viewing area. You can still get a good view of the arch and some decent pics.

We stopped by to see this view of Delicate Arch. It is quite a ways off in the distance from this location. We had hiked up earlier in the morning on the Delicate Arch Trail and we were up close from the other side. This is not as good of a view, but it is a very accessible way to see the Arch that otherwise requires a three mile strenuous hike to see up close. Bring binoculars or a good zoom lens to get a good view of the Arch from here.

The hike to Delicate Arch is long and requires a lot of effort. For those that cannot make the hike, you can continue along the road to the Lower Delicate Arch Viewpoint car park. From there it is a short flat paved walk to see the Arch in the distance. As this is one of the most iconic sites in the park, you will want to see this even from a little further away. It can be very hot in Arches N.P. and not everyone is up to the strenuous hike, but everyone deserves to see this, so this is your best option.

This is most advertised arch in the Park, presented on thousands photos. In reality, it is not more amazing than others. In any case , worse to visit, to look arch and this part of Park with color sands and old ranch.

Delicate Arch is the signature arch of Arches National Park and can be found on many things Utah related including the state license plate. While most arches are essentially large holes in sandstone fins, what makes Delicate Arch unique and especially beautiful is that virtually none of the sandstone fin that produced the arch remains except for the thin ribbon of stone that makes up the arch itself as sits isolated on a large, open slickrock ledge.

While the Delicate Arch Trail takes one right up to this spectacular arch with some amazing views, not everyone will want to, or be able to, take the 3.0 mile (4.8k) round trip strenuous hike; however, all visitors to the national park should take the opportunity to see the arch. The Lower Delicate Arch Viewpoint serves this purpose. The wheelchair and stroller accessible viewpoint is only 100 yards (91m) from the parking area at the very end of Delicate Arch Road. While the view is distant, Delicate Arch can be clearly seen standing alone on the slickrock ledge; binoculars or a telephoto lens improves the view significantly. From here, if you are capable, one can also hike the steep trail that climbs 0.25 miles (0.40k) to the Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint for a somewhat closer and better view.

Everyone who comes to Arches should be able to see Delicate Arch, the lower viewpoint makes that possible. It is fully accessible even if you have a stroller or wheel chair. While it isn't the best view of the arch at least you can see it. If you can hike you should, this view can't replace actually going up to the arch if you are able.
