Nothing that interesting
Jun. 2021 • Family
Nothing that interesting — made only a few hundred years ago — not that prehistoric ones which I hoped for. It’s near the trailhead so you you would not have to go out of your way to view.

Definitely stop by on your way to Delicate Arch

These petroglyphs are near the beginning of the trail leading to Delicate Arch. It's just a short detour so definitely stop to see it.

Petroglyphs by the parking lot
Nov. 2020 • Couples
Once we were done with our hike to Delicate Arch we stopped at the Wolfe Ranch and also the rock art panel which had petroglyphs. Both of these areas were worth a quick stop on your way back to the car after the hike.

Wow

I find this kind of thing amazing. Someone wrote/drew on the wall all those years ago and it's still here, and it tells the story of the people/area.

It's an easy hike right by the Wolfe Ranch. This part of the hike is easy, going up to the Arch not so much.

Not bad, but perhaps the least impressive rock art in the area
Oct. 2020 • Solo
These are just no where near as impressive as all of the sites in the Moab area. These suffer by being in such close proximity to some real gems in the rock art world. If time permits, seek out newspaper rock, birthing stone, potash , courthouse wash and sego canyon. They all have much more impressive art

Fascinating

Such a short walk from the Delicate Arch Trailhead rewards with viewing these well preserved Ute petroglyphs. They are more recent because they include horses but they’re also sheltered enough to be protected from the elements. Nice interpretation on site.

Easy hike, easy interpretation

These petroglyphs are easy to interpret as there appears to be just one scene, herding sheep using dogs. We enjoyed the one figure saying, "Look at me!"

Amazing

Just a short detour off the Delicate Arch trail that starts at the Wolf Ranch parking lot, this is pretty interesting and well preserved . The little trail goes through a pretty, green, and unexpected riparian area along the creek. It is easy to see why the Ancient People would have gathered here.

Easy to get to and well preserved

This set of petroglyphs are right off the path. They are very distinct and the best ones we saw in Moab. Definitely worth a short walk if you are going up to Delicate Arch (and even if you aren't)

Beautiful
Apr. 2019 • Solo
About 300 meters on the way toward the famous Delicate Arch, a 160 meter trail to your left brings you to a panel of pecked images made by Ute Indians long ago but not before the arrival of Spaniards, as attested to by images of figures on horseback. Bighorn sheep may be seen as well as smaller creatures, perhaps dogs.
Easy to miss but equally easy to find, you may loop back into the trail to your destination with a good memory.
