It's easy to walk here from the parking lot, and the view of the arches is great. A word of caution: We saw people allowing their kids to climb up on steep rocks here. One of the children fell and crashed into a rock. Luckily,...More

The short walk from the parking area is still a great one for views of both the arch and surrounding rocks and landscape. On our mid-January visit towards sunset the arch was in shade but colours of the sun were reddening and the blue of...More

Double Arch is an incredible formation of arches within the Windows area of Arches National Park. It consists of two arches that share the same stone as a foundation for both of their outer legs. To get there, drive 9.2 miles up the Arches Entrance...More

Arches is one of my favorite National Parks and this is my favorite arch in the park. There are many more. The scenery is fantastic. Nature at its scenic best.

Such little effort is needed to see this gem up close it's surprising it doesn't get the crowds the nearby Windows Arches get. Easy 0.4 mi. RT hike.

A landmark site within the park, and one of its many spectacular arches. There are trails which take you right up to the arch. Unless you visit the park frequently, it is difficult to pick just one “special” arch or formation. We were impressed by...More

In our enthusiasm to get the best view, my husband and I climbed to the top because it looked so easy. Yikes, it was scary as there is a drop off on the ledge at the top that we weren’t expecting. Winter boots don’t fit...More
