WE were dead tired when we got to this arches parking lot. We had already hiked over ten miles to other arches in the park. But we noted this was a short hike to this hidden arch so we drug ourselves to it. We are...More

Make the most of a visit to Arches National Park with this two hour circuit. After a side trip to Sand Dune Arch, continue to Broken Arch. Many visitors turn back here, but scramble up through the arch to continue the circuit. We had the...More

Although less is said about this arch - it was a highlight for us. Slot type canyon entrance, sandy trail, very tall arch you can stand right under. Easy in and out and absolutely worth a stop.

Sand Dune Arch sits in the shade for most of the day, flanked by two tall sandstone fins. Just immediately after the trailhead for Broken Arch is a tiny spur to the right that goes through a narrow slot canyon on its way to Sand...More
