Loved this trail. Part of it is a regular path, but part is a bit elevated (on logs/planks), and another area is a bit rocky. Not a difficult hike at all, and very pretty views...well worth a visit.

We arrived late morning after traveling in that day. By this time parking was very difficult, but we were fortunate enough to find a spot as someone was pulling out of their place. We did the hike around the entire lake on a sunny day...More

The pond and views are gorgeous! We started in rain, so possibly there were fewer people than usual, but still quite a few. Walking counter-clockwise, trails were really really easy at the beginning, with crushed stone level paths. Around the half way mark, there started...More

The restaurant at Jordan Pond was excellent. Our adult children all enjoyed the soup and said it was outstanding. We all got the popovers for which the restaurant is well-known. We had a lovely view.

Stopped here for the carriage roads, but the area itself is wonderful and easy to walk around and enjoyable even without adding anything else.

I loved going to Jordan pond, we didn't do the whole trail but we walked parts of it and spent time just enjoying the peacefulness it brought. Also found some blueberries so that is always a plus. This is definitely a great thing to do...More

Take the bus, don't even bother trying to park. We made that mistake and wasted time. The trail loop is a great hike. Popovers were good but I'm not sure if they lived up to the hype. I won't stop again. A nice day here...More

Get beyond the bathrooms, the restaurant, and the gift shop and enjoy an easy stroll down to Jordan Pond and the well-maintained carriage road beyond. Parking is a challenge.

Saw Jordan's pond on a tour group and had to go back with the car. They have a walking trail around the pond. The scenery is beautiful. The Jordan Pond restaurant is well know for their popovers. They are amazing. We had one with jam...More

Jordan Pond is a beautiful half day hike. Bring a bag lunch with you and eat on the trail that surrounds the pond. We fed crumbs to the fish. We decided to walk clockwise, which is the opposite direction most people go. I would not...More

I am not a bird watcher so I don't know about loons. I had no problem with flies. I was there before Memorial Day. I've heard they are closer to the coastline and in the summer along the coastline.

I would call about reservations. It almost felt like a club atmosphere and the prices were more than what I would normally pay. A cup of seafood chowder was $11.50.
