This is at about to end of the park loop and near the carriage roads. Jordan pond’s water is transparent and best for photo enthusiastic people. You can spend a lot of time in photography here. Since water is transparent so, good reflection on Bubble...More

This is a beautiful pond to sit near and to walk around—and peaceful, if you go when there aren't too many tourists around.

The pond can be hiked around with good balance and the right footwear. One can sit outside the nearby restaurant and have their famous popovers w/ jam and plenty of interested bees, in season. Parking can be a problem and reservations can make things go...More

While there are a number of trails, you could just drive to the near by parking lot and take a short walk to the pond. We were there at the end of the fall color season, but it was still very scenic. There are restrooms...More

We had a lovely hike around the pond mid-day and between rains. We found it to be interesting, certainly not boring, as part of the trail was flat, part was rocky, part was over split logs! When they say "boardwalk" do not think they mean...More

Romantic, relax, intimate seating out side on the lawn looking over a small body of water within the national park. Popovers are amazing with their jam and tea!

I am not a bird watcher so I don't know about loons. I had no problem with flies. I was there before Memorial Day. I've heard they are closer to the coastline and in the summer along the coastline.
