This is really just a place to get a park map and maybe a small souvenir. The park rangers were helpful, but nothing really special.

Went in Oct and it was packed. Can’t imagine June or July. People from all over the world. Buses to different areas. Parking lot held 200-300 cars and half full

Be ready for the 52 step walk up. The film runs every 30 min and it worth checking out. Get your park pass here as well as helpful advice, gifts and restrooms

You can get some info here but I did better by asking folks I ran into during our stay. You can buy your Park Pass here if you didnt have one already.

Very nice visitor center with plenty of info about the park and one of the few restroom facilities in the park. Be advised there is no flat land in this part of Maine and it's a bit of a climb up many stairs to get...More
