You won't buy a Barilla pasta ever again
May 2019 • Friends
This is a small factory, practically a workshop, producing high-end pasta. We went there on a tour and learned a lot about pasta, how it is made, and what are the differences between artisanal pasta and mass-produced, highly marketed brands.
We were able to see the whole production process. It is still done the old style way, slow and with small capacity. But guess what - they will soon be on the shelves of London's Harrods and these guys only sell the best.
At the end of the tour, we were given a pack of their spaghetti, which we used a few days later in a comparison testing with the "big blue" spaghetti. Need I say which pasta won hands down?

Truly Epic!

Pastificio Artigianale Fabbri - Il Museo della Pasta is truly an epic pasta museum. Giovanni and his children Marco and Lisa are holding an impressive amount of knowledge and history about the pasta and pasta making process. This pasta is something completely different from other pasta brands. This is by far a kind of its own. Yes, it tastes good. Al dente to die for.

Unbelievable spaghetti

We buy this type of spaghetti and other pasta they make when we are having a special sauce we made or friends over. It really makes a difference. You would think all spaghetti is the same pretty much just the sauce that makes a good or not. Give this to try and it will certainly change your mind.
