Our site encompassing a wide variety of gardens from Roses, Magnolias, Bromeliads, Orchids, Camellias, Rhododendrons and Natives, to name but a few. With easy walks, plus some that are not suitable for those with walking limitations, you will be able to see the results of 30 years of dedicated work by our Volunteers. Picnic tables and shelters are available, plus, throughout the Gardens, contemplative sites, with a seat, enable the visitor to rest and take in the beauty of nature. On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, plants that have been propagated at the Gardens are available for sale.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a well ornamented and exquisite botanic garden with a decent variety of trails and some topography. It's decent and complimentary, though is diminutive compared to other larger botanic gardens in Queensland (i.e., the Brisbane Botanic Garden) and is not as pulchritudinous. Overall, however, it's still a nice place to spend around an hour.

Beautiful and well-kept gardens just tucked away. You can spend a heap of time of not much time- and easy accessible for those with walking issues. Beautiful gardens.

What a lovely place. A wide variety of things to see. Beautifully laid out and maintained. One of our party has mobility problems, but had no difficulty accessing most of the grounds. Routes with steps were highlighted. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hilly gardens gives the legs a workout. The sooty owl walk is great for kids with some interactive features. Water features, lawns, chairs, bridges and plants galore of course. Toilets at the entrance, not a heap of car parks available.

Lovely to walk through the gardens.
Well kept by all involved. Not too far to travel to from the main part of Mt Tamborine North

If you're in Mt Tamborine a stroll around these lovely little gardens is a must. It was sunny but cool under the trees the day we visited and there were a surpising number of people enjoying the serene environment. An hour is more than enough.

A beautiful place recommended to us by one of the shop owners in “The gallery walk”.
Such a peaceful and serene place. So lush and green.

We decided to walk around the gardens as they open early and it was a nice morning. I was very pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the gardens. Even in winter the gardens were enjoyable to wander through.

Is it suitable to push a pram around?
Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens
Tamborine Mountain, Australia45 contributions
Yes almost everywhere has tarred pathways.
The exception is the sooty owl walk which has 2 series of 3 steps each which people sometimes manage to lift prams over that. The other area is the rainforest walk which is quite steep with big steps.
Still plenty of lovely areas to see around the gardens. Enjoy your visit.

The gardens are amazing and created and maintained by volunteers to a very high standard. They are located in Forsythia Drive off Long Road, north end, (Long Rd is where Gallery Walk is located). Well worth a visit!

Are any of the garden paths suitable for an elderly person on a small mobility scooter?
Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens
Tamborine Mountain, Australia45 contributions
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Botanic Gardens. Mobility Scooters will be able to get around most of the Gardens. The are Disabled Parking spaces near the entrance and from there you will be able to drive to most parts of the Gardens. The only place that would not be suitable is the rainforest walk, but this is closed for refurbishment at present.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the Gardens.
Regards, the General Manager.

Thank you for your enquiry. Sadly we do not allow dogs in the Gardens, either on a leash or being carried. I am sorry about this but we have had problems in the past and it is with regret that we have to have rules such as this.
I hope you are still able to vist the Gardens and enjoy them.
Kind regards, General Manager
