I purchased 6 hats for gifts at the Mosfellsbaer store while visiting in Nov. When I returned home and took the hats out of the store's bag, I found one hat was defective. Contacted the store's website by email 4 different times and I have...More

Up until three weeks ago, I’ve had excellent experiences with on-line store. I have numerous sweaters purchased in the store, and as many sweaters purchased on-line. In the past, I’ve communicated both by telephone and email with the owner—wonderful and pleasant lady. I don’t know...More

Like another reviewer I ordered yarn in November. Order confirmed. Then silence. No answers to emails asking when (if?) I will get my order. It’s Order A3181 if anyone from the shop reads this. Where is it?

Way better prices and customer service than the Hand Knitters Association. Outside the city of Reykjavík but city buss 15 will get you there. Well worth the trip.

Fun to stop, and cute little town, but we found the same sweater for lower prices later in the trip. Kinda disappointing since we thought we were getting a special Alafoss brand sweaater, but they are all over Reykjavik. Great shop if you want to...More

Very cool shop in an old industrial building on the outskirts of Reykjavik. Lots of choice in both yarns and knitted goods. Prices were a bit higher on some items than what we saw in downtown Reykjavik; lower on others. We went there for goods...More

Bought beautiful handmade Icelandic sweaters. Great prices and helpful staff. Once in a lifetime purchases. But here rather than downtown Reykjavik.
