Very good place for eating and shopping.
It was not a street only selling souvenir. Many local people came here to buy their things too. There were many kinds of snack shops, restaurants and shops here. I tried few Japanese snacks which were tasty. If you like Japanese animation and gundam model kits, here were few shops you can find your treasure. We found a lot of animation products with a reasonable price. If you are interested in here, you can spend a day to enjoy the food and shopping.

Nice shopping street with so many things to shop and eat!
This is probably the longest (or biggest) shopping street in Nagoya and it's a great place to visit as there are so many things to see, eat and shop. It's a short walk from Osu Kannon train station. There are many shops and eateries and surely there will be something that meet your needs and wants. Besides lifestyle products and local souvenirs, there are fashion and clothings, toys, florist, candies and sweets etc, among others here like Daiso and Seria. Also, there are second hand shops selling used fashion and the Japanese traditional costumes, the Kimono, watches, handbags etc. Prices here are generally reasonable and cheaper than elsewhere. As we were there on a Sunday, everywhere was very crowded. Besides those mentioned above, you can also visit the Osu Kannon Guanyin Temple towards the end of the street, another iconic landmark that worth a photostop! Do make sure you allocate sufficient time here!

    Great vibe and atmosphere
Very similar to other sheltered shopping streets around Japan. What is unique is that quite a few 2nd hand or vintage shops spread around this area. There is also quite a bit of Taiwan eateries located here as well.

Very typical Japanese shopping street for shopping and food. Has many common features with Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka shopping streets. But you can find shops or foods only available in Nagoya. You can say it's a bit small area to explore but packed with fascinating Nagoya culture.

Just like all other shopping streets in Japan, Osu shopping street has lots to offer and for visitors to see and shop. The place is spacious with covered walkways and regardless it's raining or sunshine out there, one can shop leisurely here with worry.

There are many shops selling fashion, shoes, bags, electrical, pharmacy and games arcade, and even 2nd hand electrical and household items shops, don don donki store, Daiso etc, among many cafes, eateries and restaurants. You can easily spend half a day here at least.

There's also a modern shrine (with a white dragon) here and there'll be something for everyone here.

Recommended.

It is like many other covered shopping streets in Japan. There are many restaurants. Nice to walk through on the way to the Osu Temple.

I am biased, Nagoya was my stomping ground for 2 years, wonderful city that has as much to offer as Tokyo, sans crazy amounts of tourists. Osu was our favourite place for shops, antiques & holiday parades

I always like to visit the arcade style streets in Japanese Cities. They are all different. The Osu Shopping Street had a lot going on. When I went pretty much all shops and restaurants were open and it was crowded. There was a mix of everything from high end stores to local crafts. This street is perfect for wandering around in any type of weather. I feel it's worth checking out.
