About
Odaiba Marine Park has sand and rocks surrounding a quiet cove that spreads out beside Daiba Park (Battery #3). Odaiba is one of Japan’s lading tourist spots sporting a fusion of natural water and greenery with futuristic scenery such as Rainbow Bridge, the Fuji Television Building and urban resort hotels. This is the heart of the continuously evolving coastal subcenter of Tokyo. You can spend a fun time regardless of the season at Odaiba Marine Park, which is also famed as a standard stop for students on school trips and travelers from within Japan and abroad. Many have been spiritually soothed by the truly magnificent and beautiful sunset and night view seen from Odaiba Marine Park. You can enjoy the view as you stroll along the beach or grassy lawns, or from the observation deck or the Skywalk.

Top ways to experience Odaiba Kaihin Koen (Odaiba Seaside Park) and nearby attractions

The area
Neighbourhood: Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

This is a nice place for walks along the shoreline, with views of Tokyo Bay and the Tokyo skyline on the other side. There were lots of people walking or sitting around, but it wasn’t too busy.
There are some birds to see, and if you’re lucky fish jumping out of the water.

Good public park if you want running or just walking while you are admiring Tokyo and rainbow bridge from Odaiba.

We assume this area was created to cater to the tour boat traffic, but we enjoyed walking around. It was built on reclaimed land, and boasts a mini Statue of Liberty, and a life sized Gundam that changes every several hours. There are many summertime activities as well (swimming, kayaking, etc) but we even enjoyed it during the fall.

I enjoyed this part of the city as I booked my hotel there. There's so much to see, especially the digital art museum. There is also a hot spring near by.

Some friends have suggested this area to enjoy the sunset. The sunset was nice with the city skyline, but the ambience and the scienary not so great. You are seating next to the water (dirty) and sourrounded by cheap places with local tourists that are not willing to spend.

Nice for the ride on the "metro with a view", but not much more. The little Statue of Liberty is also a bit cheasy considering the many other things that Tokio can offer.

Odaiba is a great choice if you are after some entertainment or affordable but still higher end accommodation. This park is one of those picture perfect places in Japan where all things just came together - Tokyo skyline, rainbow bridge and statue of Liberty.

We traveled via train and the Rainbow Bus to Odaiba and were delighted with the whole area. You can enjoy a stroll along the shore line and along the sandy beach before heading into the entertainment area. Well worth a visit!

At a very ideal temperature of 16 centigrade, Odaiba Seaside Park is a haven for tourists. Here you can walk, jog, run, exercise and have fun. Do it early morning or before dusk. It's fun and it's in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan!
