Top ways to experience Shinjuku Mylord Mosaic Street and nearby attractions

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

Nice to have a wonder through but don't count on buying too much. There are plenty of better shops close by which are better priced.

Small shopping street between Keio Department Store and Odakyu Department Store. Cute and clean but nothing very exciting to see or do. Decent places to stop for a coffee break or an afternoon cocktail but certainly no reason for tourists to visit and for locals, only if you happen to be passing through.

Walked passed on way to shinjuku station. Lots of small little shops selling jewellery , clothings etc. pretty interesting. You might miss the place as its located near Keio . Small upward lane to go to mosaic street.

It's a short line of shops. Yes, the shops are interesting, but then it's over abruptly as it goes into the train station.

It's located at the back alley behind Keio Department Store. If you walk in front of Keio, ask for Mosaic Street where they have trendy designs and small stores selling cute things.

Not much to Mosaic Street, if you want a quite coffee and to see Christmas lights then this is the place to go in Shinjuku. But otherwise I must admit that during by 4 days in Shinjuku I merely passed down it on my way to the station.

we chanced upon this street after exiting from Shinjuku. Nicely maintained- but most shops seemed very expensive and clearly geared towards tourists.

Yawn, move on. Nothing much to see apart from the lights at night. It's just a narrow streeet between 2 large departmental stores

Lots of little shops with some interesting things to look at/buy (jewelery, scarves, household items, clothing, cakes/pastries, etc.). Probably can find the same in major department stores, but interesting nonetheless and on the way to virtually everything given the street layout in the area.
