They have open house. Free concert during Ark Hills Sakura Festival. There are many children. Sakura week is so busy at popular places but kind of less crowd. Ark Hills also have things for children during festival.

With its simplicity of the structure of the hall and the perfect sounds it store, I think it is the best concert hall I have been to. Tokyo phill regularly plays there. It is a must to do in Tokyo. I went there on cold...More

During my one month stay in Tokyo, a concert experience was a must. At home, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania I often go to opera and philharmonic concerts. So, I took this opportunity to see other concert halls besides what I already know. Suntory Hall impressed me...More

Went to Suntory Hall for the first time — lived up to the hype, and then some. To start with, the hall is simply beautiful. Lots of wood encircling a stage — the design ensures that there is not a bad seat in the house....More

Since their opening on October 1986, I can't count the number of times I have visited here. Wonderful interior, perfect seating arrangement and acoustics with great location in Akasaka/Roppongi area. Just went there for Yuja Wang's piano recital and really enjoyed it. Never disappointed.

This was a great afternoon out. I really enjoyed, even though I got the cheapest seats available (3000 jpy). It was actually better to watch from behind the symphony because I could watch the conductor's expressions. His entire face and body were extremely expressive, and...More

Many municipalities have their own performance halls, so with all the competition, the size of this hall may be smaller than one might expect. But this is a good one. Amazing acoustics and sight lines. My son performed here last year on the violin as...More

Listening to the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in Suntory Hall is a great way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon. The facility is gorgeous and seats are comfortable. Good view from nearly every seat. Plus a nice plaza with several restaurants to choose from for a...More

We have an extra night in Tokyo, so we bought a couple of tickets to see the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra playing Bartok and Berlioz at Suntory Hall. The symphony orchestra is of the highest quality. The dynamics were outstanding, and the finishes were crisp and...More

Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris

hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is
very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has
ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find
restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The
