Neighbourhood: Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

It takes about 30 minutes to get around.
It was fun to see various goldfish swimming around and making good use of mirrors to create a gaudy space. I was able to book on the day, which was better than many other event venues.

A very whacky and unusual experience. Quite a short visit only about 30 minutes but the price is lower than a lot of other Tokyo attractions. Not a traditional aquarium and it feels very Japanese including the decorations and music. However, if short on time could be skipped.

A somewhat quirky and instagrammable museum based of goldfish in various types of pretty bowls and settings. It was actually more interesting than you would think a goldfish museum would be and we had fun walking through it. It is in a department store in the ginza area so lots to do around there too.

I bought a ticket with a limited-edition soft serve ice cream in collaboration with Chocolatier Paredool and went to GINZA, the art aquarium museum that is hosting the Summer Art Aquarium 2024 Goldfish Festival. Admission is by Reservation on an hourly basis, and most people go there at the time of entry, so going there at the time of entry is crowded, but going at different times is not. The museum has a mysterious atmosphere and is a lovely space where art, lighting and goldfish are combined. There was a museum shop near the exit, selling various goldfish treats and merchandise. There was also chocolate from Chocolatier Paredool goldfish.

If you’re going to Tokyo and you’re just looking for art, then “ART AQUARIUM MUSEUM Ginseng Golden Fish Museum” shouldn’t be missed! This exhibition venue combines goldfish culture, artistic lighting and Japanese aesthetics to a new height, each exhibition area is like entering a magical underwater world. More than ten exhibition areas are carefully designed, and each space is stunning. Some of the most recommended highlights include the Golden Fish Corridor and the Golden Fish Falls, which seem like walking into the infinite extension of the Golden Fish Star River. In addition, the atmosphere of "Goldfish Stone Lighthouse" and "Goldfish Bamboo Forest" is also full of meditation, the combination of lighting and goldfish gives a sense of being washed by the mind. In addition, the exhibition also has a super cute surrounding store, selling various goldfish-themed textiles, you should bring home a little memory. The perfect day can also end with a walk around Ginza and experience the fashion atmosphere of Tokyo. Location:⚡ Location: 8th Floor, Shenzhen Shenzhen Hotel Opening Hours: 10:00 – 19:00 (Last admission: 18:00) □ Ticket price: 2.300 yen online, 2.500 yen live, children under 12 years free👉 Reminder: Please buy tickets in advance and enjoy online offers!

I went alone is was a very welcoming experience. Everything is well thought out and beautiful. It is quieter than other museums and a little cheaper than other famous ones.

If you want to add Ginza to your script and have money, it's worth a visit.

I was fascinated by the fish of species I had never seen before. But, if you don't have an interest in fish or hate things like zoological, I suggest not to visit. In case your budget is limited, too.

A rainy day so opted for an indoor activity. Not normally a fan of aquariums, but this was spectacular! More of an art installation than aquarium, had no idea how many varieties of goldfish there are.
A visual treat, beautifully displayed colourful and interesting view of goldfish.
Thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in this ‘experience’

I saw a few YouTube videos of this place, and we just finished visiting the Uniqlo Flagship store, so we decided to go since it was close by. It wasn’t easy to find within the building but there’s enough signage to find your way there eventually.

The exhibits are very cool. Some much more than others. I preferred the smaller ones where I could focus and on the fish compared to the larger more elaborate displays. I do have to say that as artistic as it was, it’s one of those things that actually look better in photos and videos than in real life because of the colour vibrancy of photos and video.

Overall. I thought it was good but a bit expensive.

Art Aquarium is an art exhibition house with goldfish as the basic material, with the concept of brownie, located in the Ginza Triangle Mall, which occupies little space, but the exhibition content is very rich, a variety of elegant, craftsmanship unique "goldfish cylinders", the traditional Japanese culture of the magnificent expression. In the interior, there are many goldfish in the two rows of lit glass columns, which is amazing. Afterwards, there are various lamp cages, screenshots, bottles, flower window-shaped artistic devices, allowing goldfish of all colors to show a beautiful posture. In addition to various statue fish cylinders, the new goldfish rating area is all square dwarf cylinders, looking from the right top, goldfish and water grass decorations, like a beautiful painting. However, these open dwarf fish tanks must remind people of catching goldfish at night markets as a child, but these precious goldfish are not to be touched.

This is art that will evolve into "Hyakuka Ryoran" in April 2024.

It was really good.

The gracefully dancing goldfish and the beauty of the space that feels infinite

A museum where life resides

Feel the changing appearance with all five senses

It's a fantasy that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of modern times

Forget the hustle and bustle and go to fantasy

Apparently lol
