This was a fun and a great workout. The instructor was energetic and spoke English, however I think he was a new instructor due to the fact that he kept checking the clock.

Very easy to do, in a nice small group. The instructor was friendly and enthusiastic. I would say suitable for children aged six and older. Our eight year old thoroughly enjoyed it.

You must Set aside one hour to learn the basics of taiko drumming while in Kyoto. You will have lots of fun, especially if Sensei Ichi leads your class. Our teenage son enjoyed himself as did we. I would highly recommend it!!
