A great shopping centre for locals, inexpensive purchases. I had looked everywhere in Tokyo for Regetta Canoes and found a concession here. Place to eat as well, worth a stop, over the road from the station.

Kyoto Avanti is your average, run of the mill type of mall. I wouldn`t advise going out of your way for a visit, but it`s location close to Kyoto Station makes it very accessible. There`s also a food court with a decent variety of restaurants...More

You can find all kinds of restaurants in the basement and plenty of shopping but going into the Don Quixote store is unbelievable. Sensory overload with how big & loud with all the action going on was a bizarre shopping experience to say the least!

This is located opposite Kyoto station and a popular meeting point for day tours. There are shops and restaurants within the building which is pretty popular with young people.
