Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice drinks, nice setting, nice food, friendly staff. Your go to bar in Murazzano. Recommend for a nice breakfast, a quick lunch or a snack.

Cafe Gianduja is a lively cafe in the centre of a delightful town. The food is great, and the coffee is excellent. The gelato is the best I have had.
Best of all is the service - which is efficient and friendly. The manager is charming and speaks excellent English, and he was most helpful when we needed it one day. Above and beyond.

Piazzo Umberto is in the middle of the charming village of Murazzano, in the Langhe province, Piemonte. Once you're there, Café Gianduja is definitely the best place to be. You could find us on their terrace almost every day, be it for a caffè (the best Italian coffee), a lunch (they have an excellent selection of local dishes), or an aperitivo: the Piemonte variant on happy hour, which includes free samples of local delicacies like focaccia, olives, salami, crackers etc, with your drink. They serve a good selection of cocktails, have a refreshing beer on tap, but we'd recommend on of the excellent Italian wines from the Langhe region. Nothing beats drinking a cool glass of Roero Arneis on a hot summer day here. And last but not least: in this bar you'll find the typical Piemonte hospitality, and they even speak good English! Visiting Cafė Gianduja was always a highlight of our day!

In the center of Murazzano this bar attracts many people for lunch, aperitifs and homemade ice cream (the nocciole ice cream is the best!).

If you are looking for an establishment to chat with other Americans about your stay in Italy, this is not the place. In five years of visiting this bar almost every day of the summer months, I have never seen a fellow American. If you are looking for a place with great food, coffee, drinks, atmosphere and service, you've found it. For me, it's a family owned and managed home away from home. It's what Italy is all about.

Delicious beverages including my personal favourite 'affogato con caffe'. The coffee is very good and a nice range of local wines and from further afield. Th Aperol Spritz at Gianduja very good too, along with the aperitivi. Very nice location, popular with cyclists due to the beautiful routes in this entire area.

Lovely coffee, gorgeous chocolate croissants, and nice people.
Best ice cream in the village, however the portions have got a lot smaller since the cafe has received more tourists. 😒 Free wifi is good though 😊
