Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A nice empty beach at the end of a lovely walk from Ioulida. But be warned: don't walk there expecting to be able to get a taxi back. When we called for one, we were told no taxis come to Spathi. Luckily some kind ladies gave us a lift out of there (we really didn't want to do another 3 hour walk back with insufficient water), and having now seen the road I understand why taxis won't go there.

The beach was clean and the waters too. It’s a great sandy beach for a bath and relaxation. The access to the place needs patience though. It’s a rocky road and it takes some time to arrive. The beach is worth the time though.

The beach is very beautiful. A bay with sand in and out and clean waters. Come in the morning and enjoy it. It has shops and sunbeds I don't know prices I have mine. It has space to put your own umbrellas, and parking space. Access: wide ground road. With Opel stars I came down comfortably. Choose the route from Juliet is better.

The best of the best. By far the best beach of those we saw together with Poisses (personal opinion) which offers blue waters and tranquility. We didn't go to the beach bar which they say is expensive but I have no personal experience. The road is relatively difficult as for most and needs attention. But the result is 100% dechemical

The beach is amazing but this year they charge 20€ for the sunbeds when Branco in Mykonos charges 20€ for third row plus their service, amenities, pool etsc.
In additiob i paid 10,50€ for an Aperol when in Mykonos they charge 15 € at one of the nicest sunset bars. In Vourkari bars they charge Aperol 7-8€.
These people have to set their heads together a bit and this is why this season kea was down in tourism and Kythnos went up!
Get real the prices you are asking for the services you offer are rediculus!!!

The road to Spathi is what makes it so special, it is not easy, but very doable, with the right car, a short 10-15 minute drive and you will have an incredible beach experience. The beach is very sandy, not very deep and perfect for playing around in. The beach club was one of the best we experienced in Kea, as both the good and drinks were top notch. A must do if you have time in Kea.

What my title says.
Thank God, the dirt road you need to take for at least 15', prevents massive gatherings of people on the beach.
One of the best beaches I ever swam, crystal-clear, cool waters, quiet beachline, with an organized part including a nice beach bar.
But, shhhhhhh...don't spread the word; this beach needs to stay a beautiful, secret place.

Access a bit difficult but worth it.
Superb beach.
Although not very accessible, lot of reservations limits your possibilities to choose your sunbeds.
Restaurant is nice, food average (octopus not really well cooked), personnel not reliable. ( we made a reservation for a specific table that was given to other customers without an excuse).

Beautiful beach. In order to visit it, you have to worry about your car for 5km on the dirt road. It is worthwhile to go early and sit until the afternoon. There are facilities and you can find what you need for coffee, food, etc.
