Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Walked in and was immediately barked at to do COVID check in and nearly got into a fight with my father in law when he put his phone away before showing the check in 'tick'. No atmosphere, dead quiet with tables whispering to each other in fear of being overheard by the owner. I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. We order pizza which looked really nice only to be told they had run out of dough and were making more - half an hour wait for more. Um, why didn't you make more half an hour before you ran out, surely it was no surprise you were running low.

Bad set up, everytime someone ordered food from the bar, the barman had to leave his post and run around to the kitchen to deliver the order, I noted if there was a little hole in the wall next to the bar he would have been able to just pass the order through, two couples walked out as it was taking so long to simply get a drink. Much better and more welcoming places to visit in the area (see my other reviews)

A comfortable walk from Ridgemill Estate so no need to drive. We headed there for 4 pm and then it rained. Great county hospitality as the owners drove us back to Ridgemill so we wouldn't get wet when they closed. Thank you! The beer is great - get a 3 or 6 paddle first. Lots of different types for all preferences. In the past you could purchase hot food but COVID requirements have prevented that. Coffee is available and softdrinks if beer is not for you. Packets of chips available to salt your palate before drinking the beer. I liked the Tin Miners brew.

On a recent overnight visit to Stanthorpe, decided to visit as many places as we could to support the town. Came across this brew house & as I brew in kegs myself, was interested in visiting. Was greeted by the owners wife, and filled out the relevant covid paperwork as expected everywhere we visited, then proceeded to the bar to the owner, who was less than friendly or inviting. I ordered 3 testers & took a seat with my wife. The shed was decorated nicely but the atmosphere??? No music, no conversation from the owners, nothing. I tried to ask & talk about the brewing & got little feedback, however, the owner managed to answer his phone! Would not bother recommending.

Not much signage and the sign is peeling off the sandwich board. The place is an old shed with little or no atmosphere and was cold. No taste testing, just buy what you think sounds okay and hope that it is good to drink. We didn’t want to stay as it wasn’t very friendly. The price wasn’t cheap either. A bit disappointing but this may be the new normal in this COVID era.

Not inviting, weird vibe.
Arrive and stand at the door awkwardly waiting to do your COVID processing.
Just not recommended to families personally. A Beer had after taste like dishwashing liquid.
Homemade Pizza was good. The cook came out to get angry at table next to us which was unprofessional. Maybe they were having a bad day & more suited to other patrons?

We loved this little brewery. The beers were good and it was packed on a Friday afternoon. Food was also great too! This is our pick over the other brewery in town, albeit small! It could definitely have some music though, to liven the mood!

We visited here for lunch on the recommendation of one of the cellar door sales staff of a nearby winery. The craft beers were not ‘run of the mill’ and displayed great depth of knowledge of the brewing process and flair. They were also good to drink! The lunch menu was well balanced and catered for all tastes. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting the Granite Belt for a meal and a few tasty beers.

The brewery was little more than a poorly decorated tin shed.
There was a good range of beers on tap but I was not allowed a sample of the stout that I was contemplating which I thought was a bit mean. I ordered a pale ale and got the wrong one which was pretty ordinary.
We had hoped to buy a couple of drinks and some food to finish the weekend off in this Sunday afternoon. No food apart from packaged chips was available. We left.

Really nice choice of ales, ginger beer, cider and stout. Take away available. Due to covid make sure you book currently. Lovely pizzas (gf base available ). Kids had fun outside playing with their dogs. Very friendly staff.
