Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had hoped to visit the home of Verdi at St. Agata but it was closed and so also was the Verdi museum so we went to the Renata Tebaldi museum as an alternative. It was well worth the visit with great displays of the gowns and jewellery worn by her in some of her most famous roles along with some of her awards.

This museum displays personal belongings, dresses, costumes, letters and pictures of one of the greatest divas of the last century, and it's beautiful to see. You will keep a lasting impression of beauty and excellence in art after this visit, which is the very purpose of this museum.

There was no video on display when we visited, and while it is easy to go to YouTube or else, it would add a bit of life and warmth.

All in all, a most welcome contribution to opera in the city of Verdi.

This museum is well laid out with good displays. It brings her to life. Having grown up listening to her singing it was a nice experience to learn more about her.

Although the website said the museum would be open on the day we visited, 21 July, it was shut. Apparently for no good reason. The helpful receptionist at the Verdi Museum, 'phoned both the Tebaldi Museum and the Busseto Tourist Office. No answer at the former and the latter confirmed it should be open and 'might open sometime'. A call to the Tourist Office by another helpful guide, this time at Teatro Verdi, elicited the same response. These two helpful people were embarrassed and at a loss to explain the closure. What a mess.
