The caves are truly astonishing. Definitely worth a visit. We visited the caves in April and were almost the only turists there. Definitely not overrun. But be aware that the guides will leave for Siesta.

This was a great way to spend a little time in the region. Beautiful, underground scenery. We've been in caves all over the world, this had the largest waterfalls we've ever seen underground. The tour is only in Italian, but surprisingly, our guide was able...More

I've been in caves in many places in the world. I haven't enjoyed any more than I have Grotte di Stiffe. There are other caves with more spectacular stalagtites, stalagmites, curtains, columns, etc. The things that make Grotte di Stiffe so great are 1) it...More

I went with my friends and they enjoyed. The staff is really helpful and well organized from the ticket office to the guided tour into the Stiffe caves. Please don't touch stalactites and stalagmites. Also on Sunday they organize canyoning.

These caves are a find! In a region that isn't so well developed, these caves are a fascinating trip for a day out. Beautiful drive through mountain vistas to get there but good roads and clear signage. In August, they run buses up from the...More

Very interesting visit to the caves. The waterfalls were fantastic. The path was easy with an even surface and no low areas. The tour lasted about 50 mins.. The guide spoke in Italian but the noise from the water meant that she did not say...More

Congratulations to the people who constructed the intricate walkway through the grotto. It manages not to intrude on the natural wonder. Guide apologised that the tour commentary would only be in Italian but this didn't matter. The place describes itself. Bit steep at times but...More

This is an amazing cave with an internal water stream and a waterfall. It has been arranged beautifully, without damaging the natural scenery. It's about 700 mt long, with an easy and safe walk. The guide was very kind and helpful, giving explanations both in...More
