Went to Visit Clonony Castle today. It is personally the most Beautiful Castle we have visited. The Castle is filled with Character, Vibrancy, Architecturally wonderful and steeped with Historical Significance. We had the most wonderful experience chatting with the Beautiful owner Rebecca, who was a warm and welcoming Host who filled us in about the castles history, she was hilariously funny and witty and a lovely person. We will definitely be back, Much love Stephen and tara x

Stop by today and I was very impressed. The owner is very welcoming and she knows a lot about the history of the area. I still just can’t wrap my head around the fact that she lives inside this mediaeval castle. One of the coolest things I’ve visited in Ireland.

Best to ring and arrange your visit. Our group arrived on a Saturday as arranged and were warmly greeted by Rebecca, the owner. She gave us an interesting tour of the castle and its history. It would have been great to climb to the top floor but, understandably, as the top 2 floors are her private living quarters, we only got to see 2 of the floors. Well worth the visit (which is free, but she accepts donations towards the upkeep of the castle).
