Brilliant experience! Brendan shows off his various sheep, plus his extremely well trained sheep dogs (border collies). He treats the dogs and the sheep with such respect and has the storytelling and comedic timing that makes it so enjoyable. Well worth the 5 Euro.

We were here during a Ring of Kerry coach tour. I was a bit skeptical about paying extra for this attraction at first, but it was definitely worth the 5 euros. First we were presented all the different types of sheep, then the actual sheep...More

Initially, I agreed to do this because everyone else in my group was doing it. So glad I made that decision! Brendan is completely in tune with his dogs. He gives remarkable insight into what goes into training these beautiful dogs. This was a highlight...More

During our coach tour of the Ring of Kerry our tour escort asked if anyone was interested in stopping at Kells - we had seen 'One Man and his Dog' on TV many times and were not sure if we would see anything new. We...More

This trip is my twelfth trip to Ireland. I've done a lot and seen and heard a lot but this day on the Ring of Kerry was one that goes into the delightful category. I tend to want to stay away from the touristy experiences...More

Brendan Ferris is a master sheep and people herder- given the crowds who come to see him, he has to be. A slight wait for the previous group to finish up allowed us time to observe a variety of sheep up close just doing their...More
