We had a couple of hours walk on this unspoilt beach, with nothing but the Atlantic waves to disturb the peace, fortunately the weather was kind to us.

Stunning beach with TRUELY breathtaking surrounding. Running along side Donegal airport strip the view of this beach is the reason Donegal Airport was voted the second most scenic airport Approach in the world.

This area of Donegal has strings of beautiful white-sand beaches, but Carrickfinn is the jewel in the crown. If you land at the airport, don't turn left for civilization, turn right and saunter up just a few meters to the carpark and beyond the dunes...More

Can't go wrong here, as long as you can walk comfortably, you will enjoy this beach. Would love to visit in another season.
