Peaceful wine outing
May 2021 • Couples
A beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy excellent wine and local cheese. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a regular stop on any wine outing in the Golan. The winery has 11 wines to choose from (although they plan to focus on about 6 in the future).

The best winnery in Israel
Oct. 2019 • Friends
I have visited many wineries all over the world. Chateau Golan is simply the best. The location is beautiful, the building is nice but most important is the wine. It is fabulous. I had a contest of wine tasting with friends from South Africa and won big tome withe Eliad vs. Stelenbush. It is the no one present I give to people and what can I say? It is a winner winery.

Quality at a price
Dec. 2019
Remarkable setting and very special wines . Friendly staff and free wine tasting if you buy wine. The wines reflect local terroir and belong with upmarket segment. You pay high prices and get high quality which is a bargain because sometimes you pay a lot for poor quality. Recommended.

One one the best vineyards in Israel
Jul. 2019 • Couples
Beautiful setting and highly complimentary to a visit to the Sea of Galilee. Beautiful setting, lively sense of arrival. We had a wine tasting of a selection of wines. Notable are the Sauvignon Blanc and the award winning Elias and Cabarnet Sauvignon.
Jane was very friendly, proactive and forward thinking and helped with wines that were not on their usual wine list to buy (which is outstanding, we simply needed a specific gift).
Open on Saturday and highly recommended.

Delicious wine tasting, interesting tour
Jun. 2019 • Family
A (relatively) new winery in the Golan with some delicious reds and an opportunity to tour the facility. The meager cost of the tour can be deducted from any purchases, too.

Lovely winery
Mar. 2019 • Couples
We arrived spontaneously while trailing Nahal ELAL. They have very good wines. Taya took care of as with a smile although we did not book in advance. Beautiful place for wine lovers, grate tastings. Highly recommend buying a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot and going down 100 meters near the beginning of the water stream in front of the gorgeous scenery on a sunny winter day.

Great wine, good food, lovely setting
Sep. 2018 • Couples
A pleasant visit to a small winery in the southern Golan, with an interesting tour by the owner, along with a dairy meal under a canopy of green. Nice way to spend time with friends. They can handle up to 30 people. Outside catering is possible. We tried 5 wines, all very good.

Wine Tasting at Golan Heights
Nov. 2017 • Couples
About 3 hours North of Tel Aviv, a very nice drive along the Jordan border and the Sea of Galilee. The castle in not really a castle but the cave is gorgeous. We tasted several wines with a nice plate of cheese and bread, sitting outside next to the little fountain. Very quiet place with a lot of birds and cats around! The staff is very knowledgeable and they really take the time to chat and explain everything you want to know!

France in Israel

fantastic. an impressive and fabulous winery in the Golan heights, reminding you of Bourgogne in France.
Beautifully decorated, magnificent architecture, and the massive long wooden table and chairs welcoming the visitors down in the large cave.
The different wines are very tasty and the toured visit is interesting.

Great!
Aug. 2017 • Couples
A really great winery and place to visit. Everything is well organized, and not industrially like the larger wineries.

The wines themselves are wonderful.
