Wat Chalong temple is an exquisite masterpiece of Thai architecture. The stunning temple complex is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Phuket. The intricate carvings and vibrant colors of the temple are simply breathtaking. The temple is a peaceful and serene place that exudes a sense of calmness and spirituality. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole area is well maintained and clean. I highly recommend visiting Wat Chalong temple to experience the beauty and tranquility of Thai culture and religion. It's a definite 5-star attraction!

    Amazing experience
It was my first time seeing a legit Buddhist temple, and what a beauty! All the buildings are spectacular. I only saw them from outside because I was wearing shorts, but still, it was worth the visit. I'm not Buddhist, but it is impossible not to admire the grandeur and beauty of that temple and the rites they hold.

Not Just One Temple - A Full Complex
Located around Phuket Town in Chalong, this collection of buildings and temple is a must visit site. You can wander around the different buildings and grab some food or souvenirs. There is no cost to enter the main temple areas. Be appropriately dressed with no naked shoulders or knees. They do provide sarongs for loan if you are not able to be dressed properly. Walk through the main temple and the three different levels inside - remove footwear first, of course. Worth a look around and then take in the views outside from the top level.

Amazing place to visit, not enough time on tour, would like 1.5 hours to visit
Amazing place to visit. There are multiple buildings to see, the gardens and grounds to explore and market stalls to browse. I visited as part of a half-day tour, we were only given 40 minutes to visit Wat Chalong. It was not long enough, it was just enough time to walk through the 3 levels of the Chedi, over to the central temple for a look, past the Bell Tower and watch some firecrakers going off and back to the mini bus. Next time I will spend longer there, and not go part of a tour. Next time I would spend more time, not rushing, sit for a bit and immerse in the experience, make some wishes, meditate and browse market stalls see all the buildings and the gardens. Dress modestly, and remove shoes, this is a religious site.

It was extremely hot when we went, but we managed to have a good look around. It was interesting and fascinating. It would have been better to have an English guide as it was difficult to understand what we were looking at.

The temple for sure is very interesting to visit. The architecture is beautiful and the murals inside are interesting. Some important buddhist relics inside too. The location is very picturesque.

We found this place to be so crowded. There are 5 or so buildings to see in the complex. The buildings were pretty but we enjoyed Wat Khao Rang better.

A beautiful and serene experience. The temples were exquisite and well worth the visit. Some parts closed for renovations but there was plenty to see.
