This is a must place to visit in Phukhet. Once you climb to the top, there are amazing views of the island. When we visited it was not crowded and we were able to walk about leisurely. One advise, if you take a cab there make sure it waits for you as we were informed it is harder to take... More

This place is must visit in Phuket. There are many activities on the route to the top like quad bikes, elephant camps etc. Although, construction work was still going on when I visited this place but the views are amazing. It is a great place to learn details regarding Buddhism. The Buddha itself is quite amazing. Overall, it is highly... More

Seen from afar, it's definitely worth going to visit one of the popular tourist places in Phuket. Free entrance but you can make a donation if you wish. Dress decently, or if not you get to be given a wrap to wear. So if you are not one to share public clothing wear decent clothes. Views from up there are... More

Incredible Structure of Buddha and magnificent views. Worth a visit. It is still under construction and an ongoing project.

You should have a car or a scooter, because the way to the buddha is steep! But you get a gread overlook and lots of information on this landmark; e.g. they continue building, if they have raised enough donations.

What an experience! The Bug Buddha is just that, BIG! Well worth the drive up the windy hill to get to the top. There are breathtaking 360 degree views of surrounding Phuket and the Buddha is incredible. A must do spiritual experience!
