Have to agree with Jim H’s review. We’d not been back to Winter Wheat for a couple of years as we’ve moved to the other end of the province. Our visit today was a disappointment - as Jim commented, we really missed Lucy Ogletree’s presence,...More
Visited for the first time in August 2018 and were pleasantly surprised by what we were taking in. It's so cool that there are still some extraordinary things you can do for free! Not sure if the owner is a "terrrible Person" as some of...More
What an incredible place, and one I make sure I visit on my frequent trips to Western Ontario from the United Kingdom; I think I have been four or five times now. The place just draws you in with its uniqueness, its quirkiness, its bizarreness....More

Children are allowed and welcome but the gardens and sculptures are not a playground. Children should not climb on the installations since they are works of art and some are quite fragile. The gardens are not fenced so the children should to be well behaved and wander into the flower beds. Much time and care has gone in to growing the garden and tending the plants and creating the installations so - all we ask is to treat the spaces with respect whether you are an adult or child.
