If you appreciate a beautiful sunset and view then definitely make the drive up to this viewpoint! Just gorgeous. We visited several times during our stay and even read about the legend of the rock online.

When we have company visiting, this is the first place that goes on the sightseeing list. No matter the time of year, it's always a WOW in all directions.

Some nice little holes and perhaps the best views especially at sunset in all of Hendersonville. A must see if visiting the area.

It was a clear day when we drove to Jump Rock and we were able to see four states from this promontory. Thankfully the wind was blowing and had blown the recent haze away. It is worth the drive up the mountain.
