Make sure you wear good walking shoes. It is a short walk over broken ground with some minor tripping hazards. Make sure you take your good camera and binoculars. The simple cell phone photo does not the site justice. Bring your water. I did not...More

Great view! Located in the Laurel Park area of Hendersonville, NC. Easy access and especially nice if you can catch a sunset!

This is a great place to stop. The view is amazing and looks like it is painting. It does not look real (but it is). We did not have enough time to venture on some of the hiking trails, but would love to go back...More

It was a LONG and windy road up, but I’m glad I did it. Always great to see the local sites and the road up was very beautiful

Absolutely beautiful! The temperature was 15* and according to the weather report, felt like 1*, so we couldn't stay long. The mountains were covered in snow and it was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.

That is for the viewer to judge. I got to go for sunset and see the blue of the blueridge but the sunset was so beautiful also.
