Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Close to Longshan Temple and Bopiliao Historical Block, the Dongsanshui Street Market is near by and worth the walk-thru visit.
Vendors lined on both sides of the alley. Dry goods varies from ladies clothing, suitcases and luggage, fresh meat and fresh seafood, to sweets and snacks shops. Even last minute souvenirs can be found here.
The place is colorful, noise, and full of surprises. It is a FRIENDLY AND DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE ... at the Dangsanshui Street Market.

This is a market near Longshan Temple. The narrow alleys from Kangding Road have a shopping street feel. It has a very Taiwanese local feel and the atmosphere is not bad, but apart from food, there are not many things that suit the tastes of ordinary tourists.

We visited on a Monday, but the place was bustling as they were preparing for Chinese New Year. So many interesting and unique items.

A very clean place. Not what I would expect of a typical wet market. The market sells fresh fruits , vegetables, meat produced locally as well as some imported food and clothes and accessories. A good place to go if you want to know more about the taiwan culture.
