Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Longshan is one of the great Taoist/Buddhist temples of Taiwan, and the surrounding area has a pretty good night market along side, in a city which has many such markets. Lots of interesting little shops and food stalls/restaurants here and it is easily accessible by the Taipei MRT. Much of the place seems to cater to tourists more than the locals. But also, beware. After dark, there are many streetwalkers hitting on tourists as they walk by. I was there recently with my wife and this did not deter several of these ladies from propositioning me with my wife standing right there!

The Wanhua night markets are a collection of covered and uncovered streets and lanes with a variety of stalls and shops. A visit here is a great way to mix with the locals and sample the local culture. To get there take the blue MRT line to Longshan Temple Station, head North along Section 1, Xiyuan Road, turn left down Guangzhou Street or Guilin Road, and turn into Huaxi or Wuzhou Street.

At night this place is full of delicious food. Please look for this stall with the sausage, use the photos. It is so, so delicious. We also had in Ximen beef noodles, yummmmmmmy.

The Wanhua night market is pretty busy with different stalls with everything from local food and fruits to souvenirs. In my opinion this market is less attractive then others in Taipei

This is a rather small night market in compare to others. There are many interesting to see here, from clothing to small gadgets, from tip bits to local cuisine cooked in the street. Prices here are cheaper than many places in Taipei. Excellent for visitors who want to try the local living style, but beware of pickpockets.
