My adult daughter loved this village as she adores cats; although there were not as many hanging about as she hoped. My mother and I could take or leave this place. In nice surroundings and okay for a 30 minute refreshment stop.

I'm not sure what I was expecting - I heard it was a cat village and being a HUGE cat person I leapt at the chance to go. I guess in my mind I expected it to be SWARMING with cats and it to be...More

If you love cats, you will enjoy this cute little village. Yes, there are cats to be seen, however, I imagined there would be hundreds and hundreds of cats like on Tashirojima (island) in Japan. The cats here seem unfazed by humans and pretty much...More

Booked a tour and was picked up from our hotel. It was smooth, an hour's drive and since it was a weekday, there was not much visitors also accounting for early in the morning, went pass the Cat Bridge and up the concrete stairs to...More

Not sure what is the attraction here... Nothing but roaming cats... Shops selling cat stuff. The bridge looks like one from Harry Potter's Hogwargs though.

We saw about 10-15 in the entire village. Maybe it's their day off? But worth visiting anyway if you have a car and are already in the area, if not for the abandoned factory near the train station.

This is a tiny little village, with lots of cats roaming around (although I didn't see as many as I expected). Mostly you're walking past people's houses, some of which have been converted to hold tiny gift shops or cat-themed cafes. Near the train station...More

People are attracted to this place because they are one of the famous places to see many cats lazing around. This place is actually a old place where they transport mine and it is now also a working train station. You will love it if...More

I went to this cat village by bike on Sunday from Rui Fang. The cat village can be reached also by train or bus. However, it's usually very crowded if you go by train or bus during weekends. Therefore, it was quite fun to go...More

That's not a tourist attraction or anything just a weird village with a few cats. Not a reason to visit but there are a few nice hiking tracks around.
