The area
Neighbourhood: Nanguan Area
Moving southward from Tainan’s city centre, you will arrive at Nanguan Area. People converged in the South District, Rende District, and Gueiren District forming a community as well as a shopping district. The South District is also a military airbase, and has naturally developed a culture unique to military kindred community with a focus on Shueijiaoshe. If you want to know more about the military kindred community, you can come and wander through the alleys to “breathe” the culture here and taste the delicious noodles.
Rende has the Palace-of-Versailles-like Chimei Museum, which collects renowned paintings and classical music instruments from around the world. Transformed from a sugar refinery, the Ten-Drum Cultural Creative Village next to Chimei Museum is a venue promoting a cultural and creative industry. Its drum music has become famous worldwide. At night, the fantastic glass stage platform and the skywalk are the two facilities that are on the must-try list. The five story tall slide is for those who want to let out a shriek of excitement.
Guanmiao produces pineapples of the highest quality throughout Taiwan. Furthermore, drying Guanmiao noodles (buckwheat noodles) is an eye-catching scene. The chalk-soil mountains stretch extensively in the Highlands Area 308 in Longci, and the colorful bamboo forests scatter in between. When you visit here, make sure you taste the mountain delicacy, free-range chickens.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

DIY(簡単な椅子などを製作出来るらしい)もあるようでしたが高齢者なので遠慮しました。
