Really nice temple. It is a big temple located right within the busy hustle bustle of Taichung. Magnificent temple architecture. Very peaceful from the moment you step inside the gate. This temple is about 40 something years old and it still looks like new. It's...More

This is a peaceful respite in the middle of busy Taichung. The temples are well maintained and honor Confucius, his ancestors and his disciples. The impact of Confucius on Chinese society and culture is immense and the honors are well deserved. The grounds are less...More

All of the temples within this complex are interesting, and the place isn't usually too busy. The doors are usually open to the public, though you aren't allowed in the area past the bathrooms despite that door sometimes being open, too.

The beautiful temple behind the walls is really a surprising number of buildings put together in a peaceful garden setting. What a nice break in the middle of the action in North District.
