Tina's exceptional skills during the one-hour Balinese massage was exceptional.
Her ability to pinpoint and address the pain points is a testament to her expertise and dedication as a massage therapist.
I would highly recommend booking a session at this Spa. It's a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditional healing techniques of Bali.
I had already many massages in Asia and on several places in Bali but here you get a high standard massage. Everywhere I go, I always hope to get this methode and here they do it exactly I love to receive it. They get all the pain points for back, neck and shoulders. Such a relief. It is a little bit more expensive but totally worth it.
Extra services like: washing your feet in a bowl with flowers, massage table with hole in it and you look at a bowl with flowers of you lie on your belly, therapist is only focussed on you, nice Music and quite, quality massage oil with 4 flavours you can choose from and not that sticky cheap one. For me totally worth the price. There are cheaper onces, but here you pay little extra for so much extra seevices. If I once return on my Holiday to Uluwatu for sure I come back.

I had the 90 min massage and it is the best massage by far that I have had on my trip to Bali!!! Professional and catered to your pressure perfectly. Little details like the petal foot bath and beautifully folded towels just added to the experience. I had Yani and she was EXCELLENT….. going back again today!

I went there for the Balinese Massage, head and scalp massage and foot reflexology. Everything was excellent and they took such good care of me. I fell and my legs were scratched and they perfectly paid attention to that. They cover your intimate parts with a sarong and provide you with a message panty for one time use. Really great service, kind people and great prices. Don’t go to the spa in your hotel - come here instead! You will not regret.

The title says it all. The lady was very nice but all her massage strokes were hurried (it was an 8pm massage and everyone was sitting around waiting to go home when we arrived), so it wasn't even slightly relaxing. She pressed in all the wrong places, and sometimes it actually was even painful. I asked her to not massage one area of my leg, and 10 seconds later I had to tell her again as she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing.
My wife however, said her massage was one of the best she'd ever had, so perhaps I was unfortunate, but personally I would never set foot inside here ever again.

My family visit this spa regularly. We always thoroughly enjoy our treatments of which there are many to chose. Staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The spa is super clean and has beautiful decor. A lovely foot scrub before any treatment sets the scene for the experience to follow. Its nice to shower after a body scrub and they have everything you need so you feel comfortable and at home. Prices are on point and we always look forward to our next visit. My 60min foot reflexology yesterday with Ariani was amazing! Cannot wait for the next spa day.

Had an amazing massage at Laniakea. Unless another recent comment, they were super professional and we both had a memorable massage for a very affordable price.
Went with my mom and we took the full body massage and head massage, and a hot stone massage. Highly recommend

So after trying to get a booking all week we finally managed to get a slot in this super busy spa for a couple's hour Balinese massage. Just as a background we'd had two massages that week: one at Anantara, which was unreal, and one on the beach at Sanur, which was a hilariously traumatic experience. So I was expecting a bit of a middle ground with Laniakea, given the more modest prices.
When we arrived, the girl on the desk - I think her name was Mary - was scruffy and unprofessional from the off. I got the feeling straight away that the manager wasn't in. We waited some time for the girls to prepare the room, during which time we were offered cold ginger tea which was lovely and served in really pretty mugs.
Then we had the foot scrub, which I think is pretty typical when you have a Balinese massage. Up to this point it was quite enjoyable. Mary took care of my partner whilst I had a lady called Ross (not sure I'm spelling that right).
Then we went into the massage room - it's so nicely done out, you'd never expect it from the street. It's a couple's room and there are even two really nice showers in there, with toiletries and whatnot. We were shown our massage pants and asked to change. Then the girls came back in.
The massage was alright - I had asked for strong pressure which was a little too much for me, and Ross didn't seem to understand when I kept asking her to tone it down a bit, but never mind. The reasons I'm so annoyed are these:
- the girls KEPT whispering and giggling to each other throughout the whole process. This literally made it impossible to relax. If I'd thought they'd have understood I'd have complained. My bad for not speaking Bahasa. But it was so obvious that they were giggling about something in the room the whole time... It was so distracting!!
- the music was on way too loud and was not relaxing in the slightest. To be honest it sounded more like a cartoon soundtrack than any kind of relaxation music.
- the girls left no one on reception and people kept walking into the spa and just shouting 'hello...' They really should have put a closed sign on the door if they knew no one was going to be on reception. Again, this was super distracting.
- things got a bit weird when Ross literally got my butt out (I'm a girl). I've had a great number of massages in my life and, yes they pull your pants down a little and tuck the towel in, but I'm talking whole cheeks out. Then when it came to the tummy/chest massage, she just whipped the towel off my chest and massaged my boobs too!! I felt so awkward. Never has that happened to me before. Even if it is standard procedure they should definitely ask if you're okay with it. It was just too weird for words and just another point that made me feel uncomfortable, as you can imagine!!
The whole thing just felt unprofessional and was certainly not relaxing. I wish we'd never gone. My partner didn't get the same weird treatment... And he said his massage was good. Either way, I would avoid like the plague, at least if the same girls are working!!! The spa itself is really nicely done out, like I say, so I guess under more professional circumstances it could be a much nicer experience.

I feel disappointed to have left a low score having enjoyed two excellent massages previously, but I feel compelled to leave one now having experienced appalling service on my third visit.
Upon arriving at reception the older of the ladies working there, who I believe might be the manager, began acting a little too over friendly in a way that usually invites alarm bells at a massage parlour in South-East Asia. She rubbed my neck while eyeing up rather hungrily and said something along the lines of 'if you cry no one will come and help you.' Not the usual kind of pleasantries you might hope for prior to beginning a massage at what presents itself at a professional spa.
Once in the massage room she referred to me as 'baby' and continued her rather flirtatious tone. This is what you might expect in the neon-lit streets of Bangkok. This is when the fun started. Her pressure was heavy to the extreme and there's no way any human being with a normal pain threshold could have enjoyed that onslaught. She did enquire about my comfort level but it was difficult to respond as I was busy grimacing. When I was able to tell her it was too strong she asked me 'if I'm a baby?' A complete lack of empathy and woefully below basic professional standards!
The highlight was having the curtain opened mid massage, presenting my exposed buttocks to my friend who was next door also being massaged. I sensed she was trying to show her colleague something based on her chortles and smutty tone. Again, appalling behaviour.
At the end when I was feeling tense and sore she asked me in an annoyed tone whether I was 'a robot?' She then stopped rather abruptly and told me to be 'quick in the shower'! A rude and tactless way to finish a throughly unpleasant experience.
This woman needs some training in basic levels of professional courtesy and respect.
