Relaxing white sand beach
Sep. 2021
Padang padang beach has knows since several years ago. I visited here about 5 years ago, and it was quiet back time. But still....the beach is still clean. This beach is accessible down a few flights of steps (steep) and through a limestone crevice beside a bridge. And be careful with the monkeys.
I like padang padang beach because it is a white sand beach with an amazing ocean view and a small sandy area for sunbathing...and for sure...do nothing and enjoy the view. I dont recomment for the sunset view. If you have a time along your visit to the uluwatu temple nearby.
Over all, padang padang beach is a good white sand beach to visit. Enjoy!

Compact and Crowded
Dec. 2019
Famous from Eat, Pray, Love, this beach is compact and often crowded. Unless you're a massive fan of the movie, this is one spot you can give a miss. There are plenty of cleaner and quieter beaches throughout the rest of the island.

Beach,Pray, Love
Nov. 2019
the beach is famous because of the book Eat,Pray,Love.yes, you can pray at the beach, and maybe start a romantics love story here, who knows? i visited the beach in November last year when i stayed near the beach.when i arrived,a bit late, around sunset time, but only see the sunshine,so i admired the different color sky and enjoyed listening the sound of waves, also took some photos.the scene is beautiful, i hope to relax here, but night's coming, have to leave.maybe next time come here earlier.

Beautiful beach!
Oct. 2020 • Solo
Been a long time since the last moment i went there. Yesterday when i was passing by the bridge, i peeked down from the bridge and found out the beach is not as crowded as usual, then i decided to go down.

The beach is so beautiful, the water was clean and clear! Wonderful!!
There’s toilet at the beach and also near the entrance, all are clean!
Worth the entry ticket fee, tho..

Just people need to stop throwing away their rubbish, escape plastics at the beach, please!

Nice Beach
Dec. 2019
Need to descend down the stairs throught the hills. Beach is small with nice rocks, but bit crowded even in the noon. Nice place to chill.

Padang Padang Beach aka eat pray love
Oct. 2019
Everyone mentions Eat Pray Love for this peach but I think it's more than that.

It is very popular yet not so crowded (I don't know if I was early). You can enjoy the beach to the fullest with its rawness. Yes, it is still raw, clean and perfect for snorkelling.

Since they have an entrance fee for environment and maintenance purposes, I wish for more public toilets/ shower, changing rooms with clothing hooks and functioning clean taps.

However, the beach is super nice and pretty.

beach
Sep. 2019
First time im ever had to pay to go to a beach before, but i guess thats the normal here in Bali. After descending down the stairs and between the rocks, we finally made it to the beach. Was shooed away after sitting down under the shade, was only there 1 minute and just wanted a rest before walking around the rock. wanted me to pay $10 to sit down! the beach was nice and the water was beautiful. Wasnt a lot of people but a few sunbaking, swimming and surfing.

Overcrowded, expensive and dirty
Mar. 2020
Remembering how wonderful this beach was when I visited 20 years ago, it was a must do when I brought my children to Bali in March 2020. My disappointment started when we had to pay to go to the beach. Fun was had walking through the caves, but our hearts sank when we emerged on the beach. The water and beach were filthy with large amount of rubbish. The place was so crowded that we could not even sit down. We walked to the rocks and decided not to swim as we thought it unsafe due to the large amounts of rubbish. There was no beauty in this place which was a shame. We decided to turn around, very hot, and walk back up to our car, ver disappointed.

has its downsides
Mar. 2020
The beach with the rocks very nice but the rundown local cafe and some locals with their stands at the back didn't make it appealing anymore. Not that they bothered anyone, just I thought it will be a secluded beach but its not. Small and in my opinion not so worth visiting. Steep stairs down to get to beach. Need pay small entrance fee 2AUD per adult
