Of the tragic boxing day in 2004 when so many people lost their lives. Kamala has rebuilt it's life but the sadness and sorrow still lingers on with the families who lost their loved ones

This memorial has just been left to rot, over grown around it, cracked brickwork, it just looked in a sorry state, however it was a nice gesture for a memorial.

Park is not well maintained but the memorial sculpture is stunning. The depiction of the spreading waves is quite moving standing where so many were swept away. .

I dont think there is a park as such. There is a sculpture which you would have seen pictures of. Worth a visit though

This was on our must see list as a memorial to the tsunami victims. Sadly it is unkept and needs to be cleaned up out of respect to the families.

Great sculpture, just sad about how plain and boring it is around the area. Could do with an clean lup and maybe a guide something to snake it a little more special. Sculpture is very well done with beautiful meaning words on plague.
