This was included in our Phuket holiday package and not having done any research we went along for the ride. On arrival there was a baby elephant chained up on a 1m chain that was visibly distressed. Embarking on our ride we found the jockey had a metal pick that they used on the elephants head and a stick that... More

This place is disgusting. Save your money and time and go elsewhere such as Elephant SanctuAry Puket. They have these poor elephants chained, they beat them in front of you, and they look visibly ill. We were there for 5minutes and left. I hope places like this can be shut down for good in the future.

Had an unforgettable experience elephant trekking today. The animals looked healthy and happy and I didn't see any abuse. Was a little upsetting to See the baby chained up. I think for the 1500 bhat for an our was reasonable. The guides we had had very very minimal English so we didn't learn anything but all in all and unforgettable... More

We were staying in a hotel near to this trekking site and arranged our visit though our hotel. The company picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel free of charge. We opted for the 45 minute tour and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The views of Kamala from the elevated location were spectacular. Our Mahout was a very... More

I think the 30 min tour is okay but if you want more you can chose the 45/60 minutes tour. Hope this review is... More

All animals looked well looked after all eating feed when we arrived. Our guide didn't rush his elephant at all. It was really enjoyable. Would not say it was unkind in anyway. Definitely worth the extra and do the shower. Staff were so so lovely! Even drove us home free of charge! All I would say was it was a... More

I have to say, initially, I was a bit wary of how the elephant's appeared to be treated by their guides, but as the day went on, I started to understand better. What some reviewers have classed as "cruelty" or "mistreatment" is completely misunderstood and taken out of proportion. These elephants are much loved by the people who look after... More

We came here to Elephant trek for 30mins We had friendly riders. In thailand you can not expect everything to look pretty. There are shacks as you drive in The elephants are tied. The monkey is even tied because it bites. None of our elephants had marks on them from the picks they carry. We had three for the 7... More
