We always walk through & around Blackbury Camp when passing & always find it so incredibly atmospheric & peaceful. Interestingly the birds are always singing here..not always the case with sites steeped in history. Despite dating back to Stone & Bronze age but predominantly Iron...More

We decided to follow the signs to see what this place was & eventually found it after being brave enough to keep going down the road. It was a very peaceful place although I imagine it wasn't when first built.

Fabulous weather and an incredible display of bluebells. Not so spectacular at other times. Great place for picnics

We were cycling the area and took a lovely detour to discover this ancient site. Not much info is given so do your research before you go. Beautiful and shady, popular with dog walkers.

Nice walks and a small car park. The fort outline is clearly visible and my only quibble would be some more details required as only two boards with a little information. Otherwise nice area, peaceful, easy walks around the area. Can be muddy if wet...More

Really nice quiet walk through the camp. Excellent on a hot summers day as lots of shade - great for the dog also...

A beautiful place to visit and the blue bells at this time of year are astounding. However-out car was broken into whilst visiting-PLEASE take heed-there are thieves operating here.
