We visited here at bluebell time the sight was fabulous and the scent lovely. We then returned a few months later with our grandchildren who loved going up and down the banks. Lovely peaceful place.

We decided to follow the signs to see what this place was & eventually found it after being brave enough to keep going down the road. It was a very peaceful place although I imagine it wasn't when first built.

We were cycling the area and took a lovely detour to discover this ancient site. Not much info is given so do your research before you go. Beautiful and shady, popular with dog walkers.
