Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very charming place just 10 minutes away from Port Barton.
To get there rent a bike or a scooter. I personally recommend a semi-automatic bike as a fair portion of the road is muddy and rocky. You clearly don't need to be an expert driver ( I am clearly not) but I wouldn't advise complete beginners to drive by themselves there.
Once you get there, there is no entrance fee unlike the waterfalls near el Nido (over there they charge 350php per person). Here it works on donations. We were 2 people and gave 150php.
You can park your bike at the entrance and ask the people to keep your helmet.
There is a 15ish minutes walk on a beautiful jungle path. A very easy and relax walk.
Once there you will see a beautiful waterfall with litteraly nobody there except for the hundreds of butterflies and dragonflies.
If you are seeking peace and serenity then that's a good one to do.

The bike ride to the falls is beautiful and from the main town it only took approximately 20 minutes. It would have been lovely to see the falls, which as advised should be a 10-15 minute walk to see in its stunning natural setting.
Unfortunately, husbands beware, if your wife does not have suitable footwear you may hear early comments such as “I’m not sure I want to do this walk” which may seem harmless at first. However, I must stress this is but a red siren which is easily missed, as if in the wrong footwear and walking bare foot, it is highly likely this will progress to extreme, prolonged moaning... walking metres behind you huffing and a true sense of anger and fear for your life.
I’ve heard the falls are lovely, a must see, romantic, thought provoking...and as we strolled through the forest we reached the half way point to the falls, with the sound of the falling water echoing in the distance. As you walk you feel your mind quiet with little thoughts or stress... mindful in the moment, however..suddenly there was an alarming invisible breaking point I had unwitting walked into blissfully unaware. Alas, stood there a sizeable distance behind me she’s stood hands on hips... refusing to walk no more, and in this moment I realised.... I would like to live another day.
The walk back is peaceful in the forest, you can hear the birds, the wind in the trees and the faint sound of your other half plotting how they will end your life behind you, this included with a refusal of eye contact or a hand to help them over the ridge.
The bike ride back to the main town was quietly sinister, however there are several cafes serving pancakes which I highly recommend as a vital antidote.
A must see attraction which with the right footwear, attention to key warning signs and a sense of true perseverance can be enjoyed be all.

Lovely water falls, loads of butterflies and dragon flies. Very peaceful and an easy one hour walk back. You can grab a motor bike but I was happy to do the walk back. There is a comfort room and you can grab a fresh coconut as well other than that, there's not much there but the scenery is lovely.
