Really quiet and nice place to stop at. We only stopped at Ragged falls since it was getting late, but it was a really nice experience to feel at least a little bit of Canada's nature.

Pay the $5.75 for 2 hours of parking, walk the short distance through some mucky patches, and you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful set of Falls. Walk a little further uphill and you’ll get to see the river before the falls go crashing down. There...More

My wife and I spent an hour walking the rapids. It was challenging in places, but well worth it. We plan on coming back when the leaves are turning.

While in Huntsville for a conference we made a side trip thanks to recommendation of locals to visit Ox Tongue rapids just minutes from town. Alas the ground was still frozen and we didn’t chance it. Fortunately we ended up stopping at Raggwd Falls just...More

We kayaked to the falls from our cottage on Oxtongue Lake--it was an awesome paddle, and a breathtaking experience when we turned the last bend and saw the falls in front of us

This was my second visit to this park and the views are great. The trail is a little rugged but not hard and not long. Just watch your steps from a lot of tree roots and rocks. Once at the top its quite relaxing just...More

The winter had not yet left the park during our visit. A lot of snow and ice made this hike a little dangerous. If you took a wrong step it was into the freezing cold rapids for you because of the icy slopes. But we...More

A short, sweet hike in (even if the gate's closed). It's a picturesque class 4-5 rapid, but the park authority has not troubled to make it readily accessible or viewed from a lookout. A best view would be by canoe from downstream - put in...More

If your canoeing from the river below the falls there is an area that you could leave your canoe, in a way pushed off aside along the shoreline, then just hike up to the top of the falls.
