The beach is very long and can be narrow in parts. It is mainly shingle and shelves nicely. Great for children. We found the centre could get very busy but you could always look for a quieter spot if you are willing to walk a...More

We called here on our way back from lagoon beach heading to kalethia. Our intention was to have a beach pic nic and do some fishing. After parking on the sea front we walked to the far end of polichrono beach past all the sun...More

This beach was absolutely crammed. The sea was beautiful but the beach very pebbly and my 4 year old didn’t enjoy it much either. Wasn’t a fan of traffic along the promenade, the fumes were off putting. We hired beds in the front row so...More

Not a good place to go if you want a relaxing day at the beach. A small strip of sand packed with unused sunbeds so the few small spaces not filled with sunbeds were filled with people with towels right next to each other. The...More

Not a relaxing experience. Sun beds etc owned by bars/restaurants and for the price of a drink or 2 are “free” to use. Unfortunately they are so close together it is very uncomfortable.

Very narrow strip of beach and Taverna’s cram as many beds they can on it. Shingle and pebbles. Facing the sea we went to the right along to Rodi Beach Hotel which allowed much more space around sun beds. You have to buy a drink...More

Plusses: The beach shelves gently to the sea and is good for children - there are a selection of shops, bars and tavernas within yards of the beach. Some of the tavernas actually have tables and chairs on the beach, where you can watch some...More

The beach is a long one, dotted about by umbrellas and deck chairs. Although further down on either side are areas that are less packed however you would need your own beech furniture, especially an umbrella if staying on the beech for a long period...More

The beach is OK but no better than that - and unsurprisingly crowded in July. Water was good but overall there are better beaches nearby. What makes Polichrono stand out is the sheer number of very decent restaurants and bars that border the beach -...More

This beach is rather short and full of rocks. Not comfy at all. If you are not prepared to pay for a beach chaise longue (which is btw 4e at least per day/drink) it is almost impssible to find free spot to place your towel....More

It was very casual, no loud groups when we were there. Sun beds belong to the restaurants and are free on the understanding that you buy drinks/snacks from them, but they don't really bother you too much. Great beach, ideal... More
