We visited the museum and found it very informative, the staff were very helpful and we had a handset that translated into English, it takes about an hour and is interesting how the Macarons came about. It is worth a visit.

Lovely shop, lovely staff. They have plenty of things that you could buy for gifts, it’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s quality. The macarons are delicious, they have chocolates also.

Who knew Macarons were invented in Montmorillon? And I never knew how good they could be.... Try one of the cakes and you will not be disappointed. The ladies running the shop are charming and very welcoming.

This was our third or fourth visit with another group of friends, the museum in appearance looks like a double fronted shop window. On the ground floor is the shop which sells a range of items / gifts, mainly handmade chocolates and macaroons and to...More

This museum was very interesting but quite small. We found out everything we needed to know about almonds and macarons. We were given handsets with English commentary but the actual displays had English translation so not really necessary. The tasting was the best part for...More

The shop was open and it was very nice. Staff were a little prompt and rude but it didn't matter we weren't there for that. A bit pricey but it is worth it to try something different and to take to friends as a gift...More
