We had a private lesson and Dan and Meg were absolutely fantastic surf coaches. We have had other surfing instructors before but never as good as Dan. He was passionate about teaching and very involved and interested in helping everyone improve their skills and having fun. Highly recommend Kombi surf.

We booked our 12 year old in for 3 lessons (that quickly turned into 4 because she loved it so much) Dan and Meg were lovely. Spent time with every person in the group one on one and spent right until the end of the 2 hours in the surf. The whole experience was easy and fun. Will absolutely be rebooking. Amazing experience

My sister, visiting from Canada, has had two previous surfing lessons in Australia and Canada, but never succeeded at standing on the board. Dan was very accommodating to book a last minute surf lesson, the price was right, and not only did he fill my sister in on all sorts of ocean safety, he had her standing for probably 80% of her rides.
Thanks so much! The lesson helped to make our trip to the Fleurieu Peninsula very special.

I had meg who was the most patient, encouraging, kind and incredibly positive person you could ever meet! She was an amazing tutor, who gave me heaps of confidence. She's a pleasure to be around, especially during the moments you are frustrated with yourself, she isn't, and encourages you to keep going, and gives you amazing feedback, and ways to improve! I couldn't recommend them enough. 5 star service doesn't do these guys justice!

We had a last minute booking with Kombi surf and yet they were still able to accommodate us which is awesome :)! Meg was our instructor and she was absolutely amazing. She was super patient and a great teacher. Every time you fall, she would tell you what you've done wrong and what you need to improve on to get it next time. I am the most uncoordinated person and even I was able to stand up. I was surprised myself that I was able to stand up too:O! Goes to show how great Meg was :D!
They were also very organised. They prepared lovely warm water for us to wash off the salt water at the end of the session. I thought this was a great touch!

We were lucky enough to find Dan's set-up at the beach and he took us out for a lesson. Being first timers, we needed a lot of guidance, but he assured us he'd be able to get us to stand up on our own (shockingly, we did!). I'm sure we weren't easy students - being from Canada and having rarely stepped foot in the ocean, let alone anywhere near a surf board - but he was as patient as ever with us. He was full of determination in helping us to learn - what a work out it must be for him! I can't say enough about what a great experience we had - and what a great and genuine person he was. I can't imagine a better surf teacher. We were full of energy afterwards too - it's a truly exhilarating experience! Thanks Dan!

A friend booked a group of us in for a lesson, each of them had surfed before but at 32 years old I had never even touched a board. Meg and her team catered brilliantly to each of us. It was so much fun I booked in right away for another session with Meg and Jake. I’m now hooked and can’t wait to go again. I highly recommend these guys! Great fun for families, groups, individuals and beginners of all ages.
